With a love for the community that stems from an early childhood to present times, Felicia has always been passionate about education and public service. From elementary, Felicia has served as a reading and math tutor to kids who were learning English as a second language. She has also served as a mentor, providing support and guidance to youth through her local church and
neighborhood.

Being from the Washington D.C. and DMV area, Felicia has had many first-hand experiences witnessing the struggles and hardships her community faces. She has always known her calling was to be instrumental in assisting others reach their highest potential.

During her early adult life, Felicia has pursued a career in public service. She has held a summer intern position with the Social Security Administration, a federal government agency. She is now dedicated to full time service.

Felicia has also pursued her passion for people and service by pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. Which she received from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2012.

Since graduating with her degree in sociology and acquiring a career in the federal government, Felicia enjoys the fulfillment that working in public service brings. So far, she has also grown tremendously and has gained a lot of experience in the public sector, extending over 10 years.

In 2017, Felicia was given the opportunity to pursue her passion in serving. She was appointed a leadership position with Sparrows Landing Global Inc. as Program Director. So far, her career with Sparrows Landing Inc. has been a very rewarding and a fulfilling experience. In just a short time, Felicia has developed a unique summer program servicing the youth of the Washington D.C. area, called the Summer Youth Enrichment. It is a 6-week summer program that focuses on the development and positive maturation of the youth. Through activities focusing on self-love and acceptance, creativity and friendship. As well as more, critical issues such as peer pressure and bullying.
